I  began line dancing in 1996 and just loved it.  I continued to learn as many dances as I could. If there was line dancing you could be sure to find me there.  With the help of good friends, I started a line dance team at Mustangs White Horse Saloon in mid 1998.  We danced at fairs, Special Olympics and with local recording artist Chris Gray.

I have competed in Line Dance Competitions over the years:

July 1997 New Orleans Country-Dance Mardi Gras!            1st  place Overall Advanced Silver & 2nd in Renegade

April 1998 Derby City Championships Louisville KY.          1^st  place Overall Advanced Silver & 2nd Renegade

July 1998 New Orleans Dance Mardi Gras                            1st  place Advanced Silver

Oct. 1999 Biloxi Ms.                                                                    2 Placements in Choreography

I hope to return to line dance competition in the near future.  

I am currently co-captain of the State Champion Senior Olympics Team “FEVER” and Kristen Jeanes jazz team “New Orleans Ladies”.

I am also competing in Pro-Am in country, swing and hustle.

I am presently teaching a Thursday night class (8-10) at Club Silhouette.  This class is intermediate/advanced and progresses very rapidly.  I hope to have a beginner class in the future.  Hope to see you on the dance floor.
